ST LOUIS BIKE PARK
Since 2002 I’ve been submitting grant proposals to the Missouri Department of Natural Resources to acquire funding for St. Louis Bike Park (aka South County/Figure 8 trails) to help pay for the liability insurance, hand tools (shovels/rakes/etc.), bobcat rentals, bobcat fuel, etc. In the fall of 2004 St. Louis Bike Park received a grant. With that grant we were able to pay for two years of liability insurance and purchase a Bobcat for the trails! Now that we have a Bobcat to use anytime, I hope to see everyone down at the trails BUILDING and riding.
We need help. Riders to maintain the different sections, money for Bobcat fuel, a water pump, hand tools, etc. Email me if you would like to help out.
