There will be a skateboard contest on Saturday March 14 from noon – 3PM. You must be 13-17 years old to enter. The winner will work with a designer to develop a riders lounge at the park! AWESOME! Red Bull hooks it up!

If you’re into flat, YOU NEED TO COME DOWN! There will only be two regular sessions for this Saturday, 11 AM – 3 PM & 3 – 9:30 PM. From 9:30 PM - ? some of the most difficult tricks ever pulled in the park will be gettin’ thrown down!
Come check out an AWESOME band and compete in jam style contests! One skateboarder and one BMXer will be picked to be on the Monster flow team. February 1 from 3-10 PM, $10 admission.
I hope all of you had an AWESOME X-mas and New Years. I spent X-mas driving to different relatives’ houses to eat and hang out. MY KIND OF DAY!
The Shadow Conspiracy, Into the Void video premier was SWEEEET! It was cool to see a video on a HUGE screen and be blasted out of your seat by the sound system. Thanks goes out to Red Bull for the video equipment. Good riding, fun times.
The All Nighter was INSANE. The temperature outside was so warm that all of the cold concrete inside the park sweated so much it looked like we hosed the place down! It was slip and slide with ramps! We had to lay down plywood to have the game of S.K.A.T.E.
We’ve had some new T-shirts for awhile now. I keep forgeting to mention them. Check them out in the RR gear page to the right. We’ll have a new deck design within the next two weeks also.
We have two new ramps done in the vertwall/street section. Check out the pics to the right. THEY ARE SO MUCH FUN! We’re going to be working on the rhythm next.
We raised almost $500 for the trails back in November, but are still short $500. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. You can donate to the trails at the skatepark or mail donations to the skatepark. Without the trails there never would have been a Ramp Riders, so please help us keep the trails going for years to come.

If you’ve come to the park on a weekend, you know how crowded it is. You can barely get a run in. To help solve this problem we will be dividing the hours we are open on Saturday and Sunday into separate sessions starting January 17.
The cost per session will be $10. If you stay for two sessions it will be $17, and $22 for all three sessions.
If you have a 10 Session Pass and stay for more than one session, you will need to use one additional “session.”

The proshop is OVERFLOWING with NEW STUFF! Complete bikes & complete skateboards, BMX & skateboard parts, T-shirts, DVD’s, you name it we’ve got it. Marvin has maXXed my credit out this year. Better get your X-mas (get it X – treme, ha ha) gifts before we get cleaned out. We also have Gift Certificates and 10 Session Passes ($65, no expiration, & you save $35!) if you don’t know what to get that special shredder.
Man! This was one of those months that I struggle to remember. There was so much that went on.
We had a sports celebrity stop by to tear up the park. Louie; the Blues mascot, decided to try out skating of a different kind. RR skate team member, Willis Davenport, stopped by to give him a few pointers. After a few practice runs he flowed the big mini like Mike V. Check out the video.
The trails insurance benefit barbecue bonfire was AWESOME! We couldn’t have asked for a better day. It was cold as hell the day before, but it got up in the sixties for the benefit. That was the most riders I’ve seen at the trails in quite a while. For once, I actually was able to ride for an entire day, and I made it through the twelve pack before dark! Tim Pogue found Little Russ and won a 1 year pass to Ramp Riders! You can’t ask for a better Sunday; barbecue, hanging with friends, and DIRT! Check it out to the right under Pictures then Events.

The All Nighter was TONS O’ FUN! Nick Burton dressed up as an Indian and Josh Dolenz dressed up as a turkey. Both of them won 20 session passes for the best costumes. We didn’t have anyone dress up as a pilgrim though. Kyle Turnbough shredded everyone to pieces and won the game of S.K.A.T.E. and a new RR deck. We have been building A LOT of new ramps. We will have half of the new street course in the center of the park done by 12/19. IT’S KILLER! I’ll post some pics as soon as it’s done. You guys have been shredding the new micro mini for a while now. Look forward to it getting bowled in on the fence side this winter.
